Surface treatment comes in two different finishes – 'smooth' or 'non-skid' available in 28 standard colours and each with matching grouting if required.

These elegant and hard wearing micron-concrete tiles are ideal for human traffic, work well on patios and walkways. The non-skid version has been specially designed  for outdoor use and is ideal for the poolside or uncovered areas.

The pigment in  these tiles is achieved through a chemical oxide and every bespoke production run  produces a batch of tiles that for all intents and purposes is unique. Colours range from the warm terracotta reds to the neutral and natural cool concrete tones.

These tiles are suitable for use with energy efficient underfloor heating in the winter and are cool in the summer. They are easy to clean and as the colour goes right through the tiles, their durability is guaranteed.

The Inca tile is the rough and rustic relative in the broader Pavini family. It is ideal for outdoor use on patios and pathways, around pools and in lapas.

Rough in appearance and to the touch, the Inca tiles are perfect for uncovered areas where on rainy days their variable surface make them safe and non-skid.

The most famous example of the Pavini Inca tile can be found at The Palace of the Lost City.

Certain interior floors demand an incredibly refined finish but still need to make a statement.

Where marble and granite can’t provide the exacting colour variations often required and where a ceramic tile just doesn’t have the gravitas, one  usually finds that a custom coloured ultra-smooth Silica tile does the trick.

In order to satisfy all design, installation and functional requirements, we also produce plain and decorative skirtings to complement the tiles.

Bullnose edges are often called for around pools, the edge of patios, as stairs or in applications where a bold decorative finish is required. Pavini bullnose tiles are durable and have a sophisticated finish. The Bullnose edge is available in a traditional round profile for a classic look or a square profile for a more contemporary modern look.

Pavini produce these tiles in various widths and in lengths of 1m. The depth of the bullnose profile is 50mm and the tile thickness is 25mm. A left-hand & right-hand corner edge is available in both profiles for tread sizes 300mm and 400mm. The surface finish of the tile can be made smooth or non-skid depending on its application.

Pavini has added a vproduct to its range.  This paver interlinks onto the next to form a continual pathway. The product can be placed in such a way that a curve or meandering direction of flow can be achieved. By adding more pavers on, you can create intersections with pathways going in various directions.

Pavini's Elevated Insulating and Drainage Tile is an innovative tile that is both functional and decorative with the desirable practical aspects of essential drainage features and insulating properties. These precast micron-concrete flat tiles have  been designed to minimize heat transfer to the underlying slab, allow for rain water runoff, avoid unsightly puddles and protect the waterproofing on flat concrete roofs  against ultraviolet rays. It also offers an ideal drainage layer for roof-top planting.

A temperature differential of ± 16% (as tested by the SABS) is obtained between the top of the tile and 10mm cavity underneath. Rainwater is dispersed through  innovative design of the cavities underneath and in-between the tiles.

Tiles are Pavini's signature product. However, we also manufacture and supply other complementary products such as Stucco plaster, Stucco paint and Grano Screed. These are  classical European materials with centuries, if not millennia of tried and tested application.

The Italians took the various techniques of applying Stucco all over Europe after the  Renaissance. The history and centuries-long use and trust is a remarkable indicator that this material is reliable. Stucco is fire-resistant and also resistant to wind and rain that damage the exterior walls.

Stucco also allows extra insulation and is low maintenance. Pavini Stucco is not a painted "cosmetic" application – it's the real thing, as was used in France and Italy by  decorators to create that shimmering effect which cannot otherwise be obtained.

Pavini Stucco is supplied in powder form to be mixed with clean water. The Pavini  Stucco can be closely matched to the colour of your choice – we currently stock 28 standard colours. It can be applied using one or two colours, the blending (mottling) of each is dependent on the desired effect.

Grano screed is an insitu applied coloured cement-based floor application based on the original screeding floor method. It is available in a 10mm combination pack for floors which have existing restrictive height levels or a 30mm combination pack which is for new floor installations. The combination pack consists of two parts:

• A graded sand-mix

• A cement and pigment mix

The two parts are mixed together according to the installation instruction guide on site and then applied by the artisan.

A colour blend bag is also available for installers that will provide their own graded sand-mix. The colour blend bag consists of cement, pigments and plasticizer. For more information contact us for further details on the product, its applications and installation guides.

Stucco paint is available in 28 standard colours and comes in powder form with its accompanying stucco paint binder.

The dry powder is added to the binder to form a creamy textured consistency.

For large projects such as residential developments and commercial installations we are able to design and manufacture custom made tiles and patterns in bespoke colours.
